How To Find A Good Organizing & Decluttering Service

Friday, February 12th, 2010

Have you ever looked at your place of residence and thought you need help with all the mess. Sometimes just looking at it makes you want to turn around and walk the other way. It is a lot of work for you to do alone. I am going to show you how to find a good organizing cleaning services. Remember this is someone you are hiring to do a job for you, so treat it as such. Interview and ask questions until you feel comfortable.

After you choose three of four different organizers to talk with, then be prepared to sit down and talk with each them. Determine what their organizing strengths are, which will help you decide which of them is best suited to work with you . Try not to ask personal questions, stick with business and always remain professional. Also ask what they charge and what service that they will provide for you.

After you hire someone for the tasks at hand, make an appointment for them to come to your house. They will give you an estimate and probably jot down a list of tasks that you want to be completed. Your organizer let you know what to expect during this process. If, by chance, you can not get everything done now, then you can hire her again another time.

When the job is over and you are there to deal with an almost brand new home, it does evoke a feeling of pride in your home once again. You will find as you are doing your everyday cleaning, that it will take less time because you know where everything is, and where it goes when you are finished with it. Once you make a routine of putting items back where you got them, the rest is easy.

When you hire an organizer the one thing that they do not do for you is clean your home. They help you take all of your clutter and show you how to put it all together in a way that helps you keep it confined to one place. They know all the tips and tricks and that is why you pay them, they are the experts after all.

The organizer will give you ideas on how to organize your house. The procedure is basically the same for each room the only difference are the items you are organizing. This will take some time to learn, and more time to actually go through each room. Do not let this task upset you because you will get it completed in your own time. Give yourself a pep talk before going to work on your home.

Get your children involved in putting their things away in their bedrooms. Make it a game and let it be a fun thing that you and the children share. Teaching the children how to pick up after themselves at a young age will mean less work for you as a mom. And. You are setting a great example for them. These lessons they will use for the rest of their lives.

Now you know the first few steps in find a capable professional organizer. Start the interviews and make your decision. Compare prices and the services each has to offer. Hire the person that you feel most comfortable with, as you will be working with that person for many hours. In order to find the perfect organizer for you, check the internet for organizing cleaning services in your area.

House Cleaning Chore List – A Must Have For Every Family.

Personally, chores are the bane of my existence. No really, there is nothing less I would rather be doing on a Saturday than cleaning. In fact chores don't even break my top 100 list of things I want to do. With that said though, I know they have to get done (as I am not rich enough to afford a live in maid). Despite my dislike for the tasks at hand, I have found that it is in my best interest to complete my chores as fast and efficiently as humanly possible.

I have found that many things in life are much simpler if I just spend a few minutes making a detailed list of what I need to get done. Household chores are no exception to that rule.

If you don't currently have your own list that you use or would like a new one, feel free to use one of ours (which you can find at the bottom of this page.) If you are feeling really creative use our list as a guide and make you own.

If you're in that creative mood here are the top 10 areas that need to be cleaned on a regular basis in the average house.

1. Kitchen 2. Bathroom(s) 3. Bedroom(s) 4. Living Room 5. Dinning Room 6. Family Room 7. Office 8. Game/Play Room 9. Basement 10. Front and Backyards

Take my word for it, you will be surprised at the amount of time saved when you simply have all of your chores in a easy to read and simple to understand format. Setting your cleaning system up this way will allow you to quickly see what has been cleaned this week and what still needs to be done.

As a side note, one benefit of you being more organized, other than your house simply being much cleaner; a good weekly house cleaning checklist will also let you quickly find out if you're Kids, Husband/Wife, or roommates are keeping up with their responsibilities. Like with most other things in life if your loved ones are accountable for their actions, or in actions, there is a much better chance the "thing" they are being held accountable for will get actually done. This could mean less cleaning for you.
